My team was tasked with creating a strong campaign that would bring together four of the top brands for household goods. Dyson, Cuisinart, Racheal Ray & Progressive.
Like many of the campaigns I've worked on at zulily, I worked closely with a copywriter, photographer and a stylist to bring our vision of this campaign to life. My challenge was to create visual elements that speak to the concept to tie the campaign together and to highlight each individual players unique identity within the acceptable bounds of the zulily brand. These elements needed to clearly translate in a responsive setting across multiple platforms, including mobile apps and a responsive website.
Our campaign debut was an animated email banner added to the daily email sent out to zulily members. The email encouraged click through and clearly introduced the theme. In addition, a blog post was created to generate buzz and interest in the campaign. The post highlighted tips from our stylist on how to get that Mod look in your living area.
Easter Sale - Illustrations
This project was a simple one but a fun one! I was asked to create Easter themed illustrations to promote zulily.com's last chance easter campaign.
Shop Your Trimester - Campaign
zulily's "Shop Your Trimester" campaign features products specifically curated to expectant mothers in varying stages of their pregnancy. The calm, airy quality of this campaign is meant to convey a message of effortlessness to the target audience. As if to say, "Relax and enjoy this wonderful time in your life. Just to make is a little easier, we've gathered some products to help you along the way."
The campaign featured a partial takeover above the fold on the homepage and mobile apps to encourage click through. From there the customer can easily navigate between each collection, encouraging moms to shop for future trimesters as well.
Sidewalk Sale - Campaign
This project was a one day site and app take over campaign referred to as a "Sidewalk" sale on Zulily.com.
In an effort to liquefy overstock inventory, I was asked to create a fresh, new responsive layout for the zulily website and apps. I worked with photographers and stylists to create a concept and color pallet. The imagery conveys the energy and almost frantic nature of a sidewalk sale. My challenge was to maintain a clear navigation in the midst of the visual chaos.
This project was a huge success as it it sold 60% over projected demand!
Larson Upholstery - Branding
Matthew Larson is a true Seattle artist. He started Larson Upholstery as a side project; sort of a creative outlet for him to work on in his free time outside of his day job as an auto upholsterer. In less than a year, through hard work and support from his small-business-loving community, his reputation as an expert craftsman of custom motorcycle upholstery and leather goods has turned his creative outlet into a full fledged american dream. I set him up with a simple website that showcases his incredible work, a logo, business cards, flyers, packaging...the works. So proud to help this business with it’s identity and branding!

Gallify - Branding
This project is close to my heart! I love working with start ups! Helping to build an identity for a baby company is one of my favorite things to do. The gallify team asked me to create an extremely simplistic logo for their new and exciting app that connects galleries to artists and buyers. Here you can see the intro brand style guide and logo I created for them.
The Nature Nanny - Logo
The Nature Nanny is a local after school care service that encourages kids to get out and explore their world and spend less time in front of a screen.
Nessa, owner and founder of The Nature Nanny, has always had a soft spot for Shel Silverstein and wanted her logo to pay homage to his illustrative style.
